I've lived in houston for @11yrs now,but this will be my first time being "home" for christmas. So Houstonians give me the scoop on some local things I should check out. I will have fam in on Christmas day. Is there anything we should try and check out?

Galleria ice rink.
Discovery Green
Moody Gardens Festival of Lights in Galveston
Woodlands Waterway - the covered ice skating rink has a 2 acre Christmas Merriment of the Winter Wonderland along side it, with lights, angels, elves, & musical snowmen
Christmas in Old Town Spring (last weekend this weekend)
Look at the Christmas lights in the Prestonwood subdivision - those people go all out.

If you like small town celebrations, check out Dickinson Festival of lights. Nothing fancy, but it's huge. It's a lighted display trail going through the city park.
