KMarts are not here in Houston at all. I would try Dewmik's suggestion.

amen to that, but add target to them. sears used to be ok until they started making some of their tools in china. yes, even craftsman tools. target and kmart (when it was still here in houston) seemed to carry the most useless junk.

I thank everyone for their comments and suggestions. We've just decided to give our son the money to go buy something else. (She sent a 13 year old a toy for a 5-8 yr old). It's not worth the aggravation and frustration in our opinions.

I agree, but Sears Holdings is in big trouble. The mall stores have been in a steady decline for years. They have tried to move over to the appliance showroom concept, which is a franchise system, and I have seen that Ace hardware is starting to carry Craftsman tools. That move will kill Sears Hardware, so look for Sears Holdings to just become the Manufacturer/Distributor of Kenmore/Craftsman, and maybe the franchise Appliance stores.

My $.02

Carry on.
