Oh. Well, Houston may get the film recognition it deserves. Who knows? H-Town might blow up for real.

Pretty much because Austin is known as one of the true heavy hitters in terms of independent film.

When you speak of a "film scene", people think Austin way before they think Houston.

As a matter of fact, many people in Houston say that if you want to make it in film, you have to get a film agent in Austin instead of Houston.

Yet again I wasn't saying hey the past will blow up the present. I was saying the past to me was good ****ing music and if you want to hear some good music just listen to those old records. If anything the new generation will learn something from the older generation. Which is go back to the indy scene. Stop trying to go to the majors. If you don't have a huge following underground and expect to blow up first on the majors. You will go nowhere and you will be just another 1 hit wonder if that.

I know a lot of people who live in Houston, but have to go to Austin to work in film and/or acting.
