I figured it was because "Texas" sounds similar to "tech's us." Or maybe that's just a coincidence.

We do have a 2nd Silicon Valley in Texas.

Just saw this post now. still had to say that this is great. those looking to get into the green industry might want to try to move to Houston.

Anywhere you have giant corporations, you'll have tech employees. Despite the fact that most of the companies based in Houston are not "tech" companies, those companies spend a lot on tech and have people that work in those areas.
