Hello, Im moving to Houston from MO on Jan 14th, I'm moving to 77089 area for now until I find a job then move near it and my wife and daughter will move there.

I was wondering....

- Is it easy to get any kind of job for now there I have experience in IT(PC Tech, Desktop Support) and school bus driver (class B CDL License). I have no problem to work anything until I can get my feet into IT field.

- Does any one know any agency, company or any kind of business to do some IT volunteer work so I can gain more experience to put into my resume.

Thanks guys and I appreciate it. I think I will enjoy living there, I love the city life.

I'm not sure about IT, but I suggest you go online and look up some Houston Staffing Agencies for your field. You can always find a job driving school buses. You will be near Pasadena ISD and CLear Creek ISD in the 77089 area. So I would inquire with those two school districts about driving buses. And you chose a decent area. My mother lives in that zip code. It's VERY diverse.

Thanks for your reply, I'm already trying to find some staffing agencies but no luck yet. I have no problem driving a school bus for now until I can find the job I want.

Any other advice?

Thank you, It just an area to live for now until I can find a job then I will move near my new job. I was just asking for work and living advice in the general Houston area, It doesn't have to be in that area code, I have my car and I have no problem to commute as long as I find the job that I want.

Thank You
