So great to see people fighting back against the predators among us.

Homeowner Shoots At Robbers On Driveway - Houston News Story - KPRC Houston (http://www.click2houston.com/news/26362662/detail.html - broken link)

Two things...

1. Houston may not be Dodge City, but it's bad enough. These wolves followed this innocent couple home from the mall. And they were nowhere near Telephone Road.

2. How can anyone support gun control, opposing "the right to keep and bear arms", which only disarms the innocent?

Shame he targetted the car- I'd have been shooting at the occupants.

I'm happy the good guy won but the armed robbery count around here seems out of control.

This actually happened a block away from my Mom's house in Cypress Creek Lakes and one of the suspects was caught in front of my brother's house in Blackhorse Ranch across Fry. The police took video from my brother's surveillance system to help with the investigation.

The red Mustang used by the suspects has been involved with several other similar crimes over the past few months so it is great they have caught the crooks. Scary stuff, though.

Terrible mistake to shoot at the car. If you draw a weapon you shoot to kill. The guy is lucky he didn't get himself killed, if those scumbags had fired back he would have been dead.

Things don't happen like they do in the movies. Cars don't blow when you shoot the gas tank, everyone doesn't immediately die from one round...

The nice thing about living in this city is that there are so many gun ranges. Almost every one has a friendly competition event(IDPA or IPSC). Most have weekly events. Some ranges have weekly instruction events for new and more experienced shooters.
