I see that most of the house rentals are listed on HAR in the mls. Do realtors act as rental agents like they do buyers agents?

We are moving to Houston in June and we're planning to rent for the first year so we can figure out where we want to be. Dh will be working in Spring so we'll definitely be in Spring but I don't think a weekend visit is long enough to decide what part of town I would like to live in.

If it is possible, I'd like to have a real estate agent look at some rentals for me so we don't have to make another trip down there before we move. I would just want them to make sure it's clean and doesn't stink and doesn't have anything scary that I can't see from pictures.

Thanks for any help.
