Need some quick suggestions, as this may be my "Happy Birthday" Breakfast gesture tomorrow <G>.

Who has good ones? If it helps with my taste, the ones from Shipley's I didn't think were anything to write home about.

Thanks!

Kolache Factory is good and safe, plus a large variety.

Do you have the day off? If so, it might be worth driving to Weikel's. - I don't like kolaches but my husband, the kolache lover, says these are excellent.

Happy birthday!

I would recommend 'Cinnamons Bakery' at Sugar Creek & Hwy 59 (13881 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478).

DING DING DING! WE have a winner!

I did go to Cinnamon's and was very pleased with the kolaches, as were my officemates. One was thrilled to have learned about the bakery as she thought they were "the best" kolaches she'd had in Houston. I will have to try the pecan pastries next time. So thanks so much for the tip!

Hey Topaz -- it wasn't MY birthday. I knew the birthday boy was getting cupcakes and other goodies from other people in the office so I decided to go the breakfast route with a food offering.

I think this sugar high will last for weeks....!

Thanks everyone for the replies!

SO when do I show up for a free kolache and that fancy irish cream flavored coffee they put out along with the irresistible edges that sit by the cash register????
