The buyer wants everything and is very pouty about it. However, the most amazing thing was hearing how the Richmond suburbs are less than 15 minutes from work in The Energy Corridor.

Did they mention where they bought their flying car?

yeah, that made me laugh. She complained about all the fixtures too. For 2-3k, you could replace every possible fixture in a house. She's crazy. Hired a designer too and was paranoid about her budget even though she had 70k down. I mean "woah, could you be more conservative?"

Sounds like your DREAM client!

Why didn't they buy in 77079 or Katy if the job is in the EC?

Her budget was 190k, though my guess is that she had some friends in Richmond (show kept mentioning her friend lived down the street from such and such house)

Ah. Shoot, if that was my budget I'd buy in the Nottingham Country neighborhood (Fry @ I-10) in Katy. Only 5 minutes to the EC & good schools. But maybe she REALLY likes her friends in Richmond.

She wanted to pay $1.95, but wanted the perfect house with the whole enchilada in upgrades! Notice the realtor didn't even take them to Cinco or Sugar Land - the budget was too low.

Everyone has a budget and that is totally understandable- but don't say " I won't take anything less than perfect and totally upgraded" without realizing there is a pricetag attached. This is America - you can have anything you want, but you have to pay for it.

Champagne tastes on a beer budget.

Oh, I have to see this episode.

This sounds like the kind of thing that gives Houston the "cheap" reputation. Get a new mansion in a fab area for 200.
