How is the shopping in Houston?
Are the stores big/small, the selection sparse/varied, etc.
What are the department stores (Saks, NM, Nordstrom) like?
What designer stores in Texas are exclusive to Houston?

Uptown. The Galleria. That's where you need to be.

We used to have Foley's, but big national corporations always win in the end and it's part of Macy's/Federated now.

Great, but it could be better.

Selection is varied overall. If there's a high end designer in this world, they sell their product in Houston for the most part.

Fendi, Bvlgari, YSL, and several jewelry companies have points of sale in Houston only.

You must check out the Galleria, very high end shops like Gucci and LV alongside standard mall fare like Ann Taylor, etc.

Default Great High End Stuff

Now that I have seen Houston really nice high end stores, the question is what sort of outlet shopping is available?

Highland Village has minimal luxury shopping, but it's not as high end as the Galleria.

The best Outlet stores are in San Marcos, a two hour drive west/northwest of Houston. Just do a google search! The outlets there have been rated as some of the best in the country.

Yes! There is a luxury Rolls Royce dealership on West Loop 610. You'll fit right in but it's not for me. And, don't scratch my bike!
