Well, they slammed my whole neighborhood. Even the old folks that have lived here for decades and probably haven't pulled permits for anything, ever.

The values are out but the rates are not.

the one I'm living - no change. The one I'm trying to sell - says "pending" hope that means pending and no crazy math going on in the background.

Ouch, my market is up > 25% and appraised by 10%. It looks like everyone on our street is in the same boat... time to protest the valuation.

The first 2011 values for our street are trickling in, and they are mostly unchanged from 2010, which were themselves mostly unchanged from 2009. I looked up the values of my three previous homes in the county (in popular areas), and they are all unchanged as well.

We have had some decent comps in 2010 that would suggest the max 10% adjustment, so I'm sort of surprised, but whatever, our homeowner's insurance increase more than makes up for it!
