If Houston had man-made mountains, it would look like LA.

Houston should have more pink flying unicorns. When you're sitting in traffic, wouldn't you like to see a pink flying unicorn instead of a billboard? Who wouldn't?

I propose we get on this right away, expenses be damned. We need a unicorn on every street corner. See! It's not just a seedy looking motel or gas station. It's a seedy looking motel or gas station with a unicorn perched on top! Win!

I'm sure most Houstonians would rather see little green leprechauns that run across the freeway.

Yes, leprechauns. Imagine if that rainbow disappearing behind the billboard or the seedy crack motel led to a pot of gold. Surely that would be improvement. Everyone likes gold.

The heat will melt the gold, and we have to improve that too.

For this I propose we dismantle the city piece by piece, ship it to Montana, then rebuild it there. Then we'll have natural scenery too. I like the idea of solving multiple problems at once.

We'll keep the unicorns and leprechauns though.

As someone who recently visited Houston, I would say Houston really needs more diversity in terms of dining and entertainment. Almost everywhere you look is steakhouses. Steak is great but what about other cuisines... Japanese, Singapore, Greek, Lebanese, Egyptian etc. I'm sure there are these types of restaurants scattered around, but they aren't common like here in Calif.

The other thing is, Houston is awfully flat and uninteresting in terms of natural scenary. Since mother nature didn't bless it with beautiful coastlines and snow-capped mountains, a developer should build an urban park like Balboa in San Diego or Golden Gate in SF.

They also need to bury utility cables for all new residential areas. They only seem to do it for (some) high-end communities. It makes neighborhoods really ugly
