Dirt moving in Katy.
I see where construction people are starting to move some dirt around at 99 and the Westpark Toll - on the Katy side. Any ideas what it could be?

Does it look like it could be work on the Grand Parkway? I read that they were starting work on some of the overpasses between Katy & 59. I know they just started working on the one near River Park. I heard that they plan to do the "easiest" overpasses first. I can't imagine that one to be one of the easy ones.

As in making it so one would not have to exit the tollway in order to get on Grand Parkway? That would be cool if so. But I think this is a proposed retail area. So I doubt it.
I am talking about some space in what is called Grand Corners....

Their plan needs to be to build the most essential ones first. I-10 was easily first on that list. 1093, 90A, and 59 NEED TO BE COMPLETED. Also the pavement on the section from 90A to Bellaire blvd. is disintegrating. It's all patched up and ugly and it's barely 15 yrs old. And it ain't getting any newer.

yeah, i actually saw it yesterday as i was getting off the tollway. looks like they are laying a foundation so it's a building of some sort. hope it's something useful!

I once heard a rumor that Bed Bath and Beyond wanted to move into that space. That would be great. I hate going over to Katy Mills. But the other poster is probably right - it could be a nail salon or something. LOL.

I just wonder about Grand Corners being so close to the Shops at Bella Terra. It will be interesting to see the two coexist.
