There is a new Chuy's going up just West of Westgreen and I10, right next to the new Houston Garden Center that just went up. Another place to hang out.... I've yet to go to Lupe Tortillas on 99 because it is always jam packed!

Mmmmm....love the dip (not sure what it's called) they give you at Chuy's.
I too have not had a chance to go to Lupe Tortilla's.
I hate waiting in line for anything, especially when I'm starving.

Just got home from eating at Chuy's in Westchase. Ill be glad to add it to my never-ending list of awesome mexican restaurants in Katy. It seems that everybody wants a piece of Westgreen & I-10 though.

Not my favorite Mexican food, but I will take it. I am eager to see more places pop up in the Katy area!

I also know that at some point, a Rudy's BBQ will be built. I talked with the store manager at the one off 290 and he said it is definitely in the plans.

You're better off eating at home, and controlling what you eat. The food industry in general is a mess these days, and restaurants put all kinds of garbage and unhealthy junk in foods. There's not even any labelling to reference. They have free reign. Tasty food doesn't equal healthy food. You're just knocking off more days of your life with that junk.

Sure maybe if this thread had anything to do with a restaurant like that. Chuys is an exception to your "rule". They take pride in their food.

Write them!

There's a real dearth of places to serve New Territory and north of it... especially now that Ruthie's Mexicana closed. I wish new places would come out that way instead of around First Colony / Riverstone, which already has so much.

Thank you, Surgeon General, for telling grown adults what to put in our bodies.
Next thing you'll be telling us that drinking alcohol is bad for us
