You'll find more around the Golden Triangle (if you even consider that Texas ). The difference in accent is unmistakable, something I've never heard in Houston. And it gets even thicker (almost unintelligble) into rural Southwest Louisiana.

Isn't that cajun you speak of??? I know Southwest Louisiana is more cajun than creole.

I know (I'm not even going to ask) that Houston has Creole and Cajun restaurants and influences since its close to Louisiana.

Isn't all of the Memorial villages only in the 77024 zip code area except Spring Valley which is slightly cheaper? East of BW8? Is Sherwood Forest considered Memorial?

Per Wikipedia:
(Spring Valley Village, Piney Point Village, Bunker Hill Village, Hedwig Village, Hilshire Village, and Hunters Creek Village)
