Mayorofnyc, Depending on what you want to do and eat, I would budget $700-$1,000 for shopping, gas(taxi fare), and food. Is this visit for leisure or business?

It's really impossible to answer this question without knowing your itinerary.

Food would start about $15/person at a casual restaurant. Of course it can be much more depending on the restaurant.

I'd estimate $10 to park. But this is just downtown and street parking is free on Sunday. Most places outside of downtown don't charge for parking.

Why don't you just bring a credit card. That's safer than carrying cash anyway. I'd bring some cash of course, but put everything I could on the credit card.

Hey guys. Thanks you for your answers although some of them were pretty funny lol. To answer some questions...well I'll be driving a full-size rental car so most likely an Altima or Camry or something like that (Im a tall dude 6'4). As far my itinerary...well I'll be arriving Friday around 2pm, but I'll more than likely just crash at the hotel until nighttime or so (9pm) and maybe go bar/club hopping unless theres some happy hour places you guys know of. Anyway I don't know if you guys have lounges down here...they're like mini-nightclubs, but they dont charge a cover. I'm assuming you guys have them.

Saturday is probably my "tourist" day in that I'm gonna try to see as many tourist attractions as I can. I plan to purchase the "CityPass" for like $40 thats get you admission into places like the Space Center, Aquarium, stuff like that. Would also like to visit the Galleria and maybe the Medical Center. Now I have no idea yet what I'm gonna do on Sunday. Maybe you guys can throw out some ideas.

Oh and to the person who asked...yes I'll be bringing my credit card on the trip....but I always preferred using cash first.

Thanks again!

EDIT: Meals will be cheap-eats/fast food...nothing fancy

I'll be going by myself. So I'll be paying for 1 person.

Depends on what you eat and drink but exclusive of car/hotel expense you could do well on $300.

When did Altima's and Camry's become considered "full size cars?" Do rental car agencies list those as full size? I must have missed something because those are pretty small cars.
I'm picturing you driving with your head through the sun roof.
