My husband and I moved to Houston nearly two years ago. The stress of the move, new jobs, being away from my family and expecting our first child didn't make it any easier. A friend at work recommended a counselor in the Bellaire area: Ben Carrettin. (and yes - he takes insurance) He was a great help to both of us. I've sent three friends to him since and I'd recommend him to anyone else dealing with the multi-layered challenges of family, work and the big city!

I don't think this forum is for advertising. But I may be wrong. I could understand posting something like this if someone specifically asked for the name of a good counselor but starting a thread like this seems odd.

Hmmmm....you mean like if I started a thread that said I don't know let's see ABC Driveway Pourers is the best driveway pourer in the world and I just joined that very instant? That would look odd to you?

weshou, I think you are the suspicious type!

Maybe I should call Dr. Carrettin so he can help me with being suspicious of others. I'm sure it's due to some buried childhood problems. Do you think that fits under the umbrella of multilayered challenges of the big city?

I'm going to wait for one more testimonial of one of Ben's patients before I sign up. Maybe one from Regina Phallange or Anastasia Beaverhousen.
