I agree. but I also think that people just need to know that they should not drive on the rail lines, pushing the trains.

Anyone know why houston and dallas dont have subways? Is it bc of our quality of soil the light rails have dedicated space
.

I wonder too. Is it because Houston has a high water table?

All of you guys have proposed fantastic ideas to alleviate the traffic problems in Houston. Now the next goal is to get the politicians to listen to you guys. Good luck with that.

Thanks to gerrymandering and the ever-changing districts, our politicians could care less about our concerns.

If they listen to us.... doesn't mean that they are going to do it either.

They are because they need repaving something fierce. Shepherd and Westheimer's side lanes will just about shake you out of your seatbelt. It's yet another reason we call Shepherd the "Gauntlet of Death."

And AmberAzeneth: 1960, 610, 249 etc... they should be freeways because people already drive like they are anyway!

Yeah. That's a really nice project. Houston will be the place for civil engineers. Hopefully, I can get in on the excitement!
