Low insurance
I live in Sugar Land. I don't have a home owner policy attached to my car insurance with Geico. I pay $320 every 6 months for full coverage, UIM, rental reimbursement and road side assistance. Insurance in Sugar Land is lower than Houston but with Geico it really goes by your zip code. I have a friend who pays $284 every 6 months with State Farm but she has her home owner policy attached. You can also save on your insurance by taking a defensive driving course and alcohol awareness course. Geico gives you 10% for defensive driving and another 5% for alcohol awareness and the discounts are good for 2 or 3 years. You also get a discounts:
vin etching on your windows
anti lock brakes
alarm system
multiple cars
keeping your car in a garage
driving less than 7k miles per year
and of course having a good driving record.
