UPDATED: Live chat: big announcement expected about Freetail | Houston Bars/Clubs | 29-95.com

Supposedly it will be close to where the Dynamo will play. I'm guessing more bars and restaurants will be heading there. How did the movement go...Richmond Strip -> Downtown -> Midtown -> Washington Ave -> Eastside?

Met a guy who ran a small restaurant a couple of years ago buying tons of property fairly cheap in that Dynamo area in anticipation of the stadium.

when is the reliant area going to develop more? i am guessing it is already pretty pricey being so close to the med center. god knows something needs to happen down there besides another fast food franchise.

If they don't build sidewalks, you'll be ok. No sidewalks, no soccer moms.
Of course any pre-1990,non-stucco commercial buildings in the vacinity works just as well as a deterrent.
