Could you recommend a seller of quality fence materials (#1 cedar pickets, etc.). Preferably near Sugar Land and better/cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes. Thanks.

Does Cedar grow in Texas? I'm in NC but we bought some beautiful cedar from a man with a backyard lumber mill. He would buy the logs from loggers and then custom cut them. It made a gorgeous fence and was at least half the cost of the standard picket panels that they sell at Lowes/Home Depot. I found this man on craigslist in the farm and garden section. There were several people who offered the same service so you might try looking there.

About 6 or more varieties - including Carolina Cedar and of course Texas Cedar. Austin and the Hill Country have plenty of the stuff. Cedar Fever is a plague on many Central Texans.

I'm interested in the answer to OP's question as well.
