Red face Juliet Homes Troubles

There is no good news about Juliet Homes. DO not buy a home from them. They are having financial problems and do not pay thier subcontractors and employees who build their homes. They have liens on thier properties. One of the owners cannot even afford to pay his own bills.

..I found 19 lawsuits against Juliet Homes filed in 2007, that's a lot. Sounds like they're in a legal mess..does anyone know why there are so many cases filed against them? Is it because they aren't paying their bills and subcontractors?

Juliet Homes is no longer in Silverwood Ranch in Shenandoah. Several new homes are under construction by Todd Sievert and David Powers. You can also purchase/build with Woodridge Homes. Their prices are better and you can customize to your heart's content, if you want that. Otherwise, just pick out a few decorative items and get the floorplan "as is." The homes are well built and everyone we've met in the neighborhood is really nice.

We were unable to close on the home we were building in Creekside Park/The Woodlands due to financial reasons. Six months later we found Silverwood Ranch/Shenandoah and were very impressed with the homes and people. This building process has been very positive and very rewarding. We close in 2 weeks and we already feel like we are a part of the neighborhood.

David Powers is out of money. Do not buy from them unless the house is already finished and you make sure it is free of liens.

I have plenty of info on Juliette. Knew someone that worked there.
You can also go to the Implode site to get info on how builders are doing or not doing as the case may be.
