We are a retired couple and are thinking of buying a condo in Galveston for a getaway. We are looking at the Palms at Cove View condos (right after Seawall ends on the right). Does anyone know if that is a safe area and anything about this condo complex (maintenance, safety,etc.) Thanks

We looked at properties on Tiki Island about 1 1/2 yrs. ago... were shocked by the insurance cost and what it didn't cover. Too may riders needed to get adequate coverage. Priced us out of the market... decided on Lake Conroe instead...and ended up a "happy camper"...Sunny
