Hi,me and my husband are looking to rent a apartment in Kingwood.Most likely will be moving to Houston in Aug.Will prefer a gated community which is safe and quiet.

Do you have a budget to stick to? Is apartment long or short term? I used to live in KIng's Crossing, which is "okay" short term, although I lived there 2 years.. I was glad to leave. I reviewed the place on apartmentratings.com ..most reviews on there describe the place perfectly.

Villas of Kingwood is gated and almost brand new not sure what rent runs for there.

I live in Kings Crossing and its ok so far. The have quite a few luxury apts on West Lake Houston Parkway.

It was years ago, but I lived in a gated apt. community in Kingwood....with a DPS officer living right next door and my car was vandalized, broken in to, and I had items taken from my apartment.
