Sorry to ask - but how do I post photos ... do I just use attachment or is there another way I need to do it? Have a fowl living in my yard that I want to get someone to ID

Take a picture, save to your HD, then use attachment, find your picture, download, click on blue link to get picture url, copy, go back to post reply, click on icon "insert image" paste your url, preview your picture - looks OK?? now post your picture

You can also use the [IMG][/IMG] tags to load them from another source on the Web, like a photo hosting service. That's what I've always done.

Nice!! I use the Internet all the time but nice of you to make assumptions - just had a particular question about loading them on this particular forum.

I use Photobucket with this method. The url is already provided once you've uploaded your photos, and all you need to do is copy 'n paste to your post.

Wouldn't we need to keep our computer on in order for the photo to show up?

Never mind, I just realized that it's uploaded.

Oh by the way, the bird turned out to be some sort of Grouse not sure which named grouse but a grouse all the same. No point starting a new thread saying what is this bird and wasting everyone's time viewing it now that I have identified it. Thanks anyway.
