Methodist Hospital always ranks in the top for great places to work. My friend works in IT there, and he loves it.

You may want to get specific details on the IT department within the company. I love my job, and the people I work with. However, not everyone in the company feels the same. Much depends on your boss and your co-workers.

The Houston Chronicle is currently gathering info for its annual BEST PLACES TO WORK listing. I'm not sure when the current list will be announced but you can probably check the archives for previous years' listings:

I googled and found the 2008 listing:
2008 Chronicle 100: Houston's leading companies | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle (http://www.chron.com/business/100/ - broken link)

And here's a 2010 listing, including Houston companies, from MONEY magazine:
http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortu...states/TX.html

You can google BEST EMPLOYERS HOUSTON TX ANNUAL LISTINGS and find more info. Good Luck!

Obviously it's no Hewlett Packard, but it's a young, rapidly expanding, fun company. Just opened a new office in Rio De Janeiro, have another in Austin, and I believe are set to open another in the next 6 months.

Thank you billabongrob, webhosting is ok with me.. i have more experience in IT and customer support, but i know some basics of that as well..
I am open to chances really..and willing to learn!
thank you will check them out!
