Check the northeast side of town. You can get into Downtown in 20 minutes during rush hour. Communities to look at are Fall Creek, Summerwood, and Eagle Springs.

Modster-i would consider a semi-transitional area, but I would really have to check it out.

I am really liking the short distance with the Fall Creek area

I don't think you could find a planned community with an easier downtown commute than Fall Creek.

The last mile or two into downtown the traffic slows a bit but other than that it is a snap.

There is also a park & ride very handy to Fall Creek.

I have no idea what a transitional neighborhood is. We do have two little girls ages 4 and 1. Schools are important, my wife is also a teacher and would be looking for an opening.

hey, walden on lake houston or summerwood(where we currently live) is a great place to live at...you have an elementary school built right in the neighborhood, a wonderful entrance i think entraces are everything when you buyin lookin at a community..i brand new high school...miles of trails custom homes and we have another neighborhood next door called summerlake ranch and its very exciting there where the people who want 2 build mega homes on lot of acres of land
