Amen to that. I can't believe we (some of us) actually went so far and listen to SouthernBoys rambling and non-sense.

There is no boom here. My company gave up residential construction because there is none. We have quite a number of commercial projects going but they are in every major Texas city EXCEPT Houston. I'm lucky to still be able to stay here in Houston because for most of our employees it was relocate and live in a motel or be unemployed.

OP tell your friend it's time to get out of construction. The writing is on the wall. This biz is dead and ain't coming back any time soon.
