Default Is it hard to find a chemical engineering Job in Houston?

I am currently a rising junior in College majoring in chemical engineering, I currently live in Richmond, VA but I have my mind set on moving to Houston once I am done with school.

I have a 3.6 GPA, and I want to work for DuPont or DOW, are there any other really good chemical engineering companies in Houston or the Texas region?

What is the average entry level salary for chemical engineers, in Houston?

ExxonMobil is one of the world's largest chemical companies and they have a massive chemical complex integrated with their refinery in Baytown. Great place to work.

I always drive by ExxonMobile's chemical division HQ over at the Energy Corridor. I think they'll be in the new Woodlands facility eventually, but...there you go.

Most Super Major oil companies have large chemical divisions.
