Just a little background on me. Im 26 currently live in Atlanta. No kids just me and my lady. We both are looking to move to another state for a fresh start. She is graduating in the fall with a bacheloes in communications. I currently have been working temp warehouse type jobs but my aim is to futher my education.

I have heard that the Houston areas job market is thriving and just wanna know how true that is. I dont have the best resume but i feel i can succed if their are infact opportunites available.

So if you could just give me a little advice on your city it would help in my search to narrow our possible destination.

The only sector really thriving down here is energy. We're not as bad as other cities, but Houston is by no means a magical oasis of employment. You can check out Rigzone for O&G jobs -- maybe you'll find something. Otherwise, you can head to North Dakota -- now that place IS an oasis of employment.

Good luck.
