1) How is the traffic from Clear Lake (for example, intersection of Saturn Ln and Nasa Pkwy) to Baytown in the morning?
2) How about the following apartments?
The Regatta at 1315 NASA Pkwy
Wolf Creek at 16100 Space Center Blvd
The Park at Armand Bayou
The palms at Clear Lake
The Preserve

Many thanks!!

We lived at The Park At Armand Bayou but that was 10 years ago. We loved it there. Hubby traveled to Baytown like you. Traffic down that way is bad now unless you leave early. It use to take him 20-30 min to get home.

The time is important because a lot of shift workers work in the plants and drive on 146. Shift changes are around 5:00 or 6:00 AM and PM.

Those apartments should all be fine, with maybe the exception of The Regatta.

Traffic basically runs at posted speeds at all hours of the day. Where you might get hung up is at the traffic lights. As far as the Houston region goes, that side of town probably has the easiest rush-hour traffic to deal with. Wherever there are refineries, you usually get excessively large roads.

Thanks a lot for everyone's suggestions. I am thinking about 7-7:30am in the morning.

I would go with the Park at Armand Bayou out of those choices. Is the Palms at Clear Lake on Space Center or are those the apt. just off of El Camino. If off El Camino - I'd bypass those. They aren't bad, but lots of crappy apts. around them.

We stayed at the Park at Armand Bayou when we first moved here. I would highly recommend it.
