There was an armed robbery and shoot out at Wells Fargo in the New Territory Randall's this morning. A deputy was shot.

As the robbers are still at large, the New Territory Club is advising New Territory residents to stay inside their houses and keep their children inside.

They need to take banks back out of grocery stores. No way to secure them, making them way to easy of a target.

Only until they ensured that the robbers weren't still roaming around close by. The neighborhood association just gave the "all clear."

It doesn't sound like the robbers were caught...just that they left New Territory.

The news just said that the deputy was shot multiple times. I sure hope he will be OK as he was off duty and just trying to help.

Considering the wealth that comes with the residents of New Territory (which is very inviting to criminals), it is especially dumb to have a bank in a grocery store.

Maybe the banks should just put some money outside the store for the criminals to take. At least then the criminals wouldn't have to come inside with their guns and drugged-out violent behavior (sarcasm folks, in case you didn't get it).

I HATE to hear about robberies! The same energy and "intelligence" that the robbers use to rob people and places can be used to help them find a J...O...B!

The news is saying that the deputy was shot in the shoulder, leg, and hip, but is undergoing surgery and will likely be OK.

Police are searching for the robbers. I hope they catch them.

I doubt that the gilded residents of New Territory keep the bulk of their assets in hard currency at the WF in the Randall's store. That's not to say dumb people like these robbers might think they do.
