My husband just got a job in North Houston and our family will be relocating from Long Beach Ca, we are very excited to make the move but are not sure which city will be best for our family to live. We are a family of 4 my husband and I are 30 and our children are 3.5 and 15 months old so we will be looking for a preschool and mommy and me type groups. I am a stay at home mom and would like to find a neighborhood that has other families our age. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

First off, what do you consider "North Houston"?

Are you looking closer to 610 north loop or out past the beltway??

You can't get any relevant suggestions if you don't give a price range!

North Houston

Maybe narrow it down a bit? Just for perspectives sake it takes 45 minutes to drive from the bottom to the top of the map with no traffic.

If you put a price range and where your jobs are, then it'll be easier to give good advice.

Just sayin'...

The Heights is the only place I'd live. Not really North Houston, but I don't like many other areas inside 610. The Woodlands is nice, just not my style.
