Anyone know the current conditions of Lake Houston and if the boat ramps are still open? I know they opened up Lake Conroe this morning to flow down to Lake Houston but I have no idea if boating is even allowed right now. Maybe someone knows a website with current info? I couldn't find one. Thanks!

Saw a note today on Atascocita.com that the boat ramps at Duessen Park are now closed.

I like how the website labels US 59 as IH 59. Lol

That is because there are plans on the table to turn it into an IH. There has been major construction along 59 between Houston and Texarkana with that in mind.

Yes but that hasn't happened yet and it won't be called 59 it'll be IH 69. So it's wrong regardless.

They had that future I-69 corridor sign up almost 20 yrs ago when I was growing up out there. I wonder if they'll ever finish it. If so, that interstate number is off. It should be I-47 north of downtown and probably I-37 to the southwest, or maybe even I-6.
