Hi,

We moved to here from NYC with our little boy last year. Does anyone have any recommendations where we can have fun during this summer season except going to beaches, museums, and shopping mall, or any special events which we can attend? Thank you.

Hmm, I'm not sure if folks were reading, but the activities are for a 2-year old boy. Johnson Space Center would be a complete bore (not to mention way too hot riding around in the open-air tram). Same goes for much of Moody Gardens. Dave and Busters is for adults, as far as I know.

As someone who takes care of a 2-year old boy, I recommend instead: pools (preferably kiddie/shallow ones), and Chuck E Cheese. Also Putt Putt, Kemah boardwalk (especially the fountain area), Discovery Houston, Herman Park, and the zoo, though these are pretty much all outdoors, and they can very hot if you are not careful. I'm sure there are more indoor places to add.

The Children's Museum for sure (I know you said besides museums, but ours is really good).

Wonderwild in the Heights.

Any of the bounce house places.

The playground in one of the malls.

We live in Katy, but we don't mind to drive a little far. What about Downtown Aquarium? Is it a good place to go? BTW, thanks for those information from you guys.
