Wait till the Phoenicia deli opens up downtown....place is awesome. There is currently one on Westheimer outside the Beltway. Best chicken shwarma in town!

If you are in the Clear Lake area, The Greek Deli is on Bay Area Blvd. I eat there all the time. Very good stuff.

Not 100% Greek, but Mediterranean, more Middle Eastern food - and I agree its good food.

I use to always go to Phoenicia. I was happy when they moved the deli across the street, closer to the main store. It has a patio and everything now. I pretty much live for the Baklava they have. It's the type of food I like to eat, with this really hot weather we are having. I use the main store more than the deli. I love the variety of foods that I can't really get most other places. Not to mention, it's where I bought my hookah.

The authentic Mexican places here = South Texas / Rio Grande style, unless it specifically says Monterrey. That milky green hot sauce, whole onions and limes give that one away.
lol, you have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about.

Actually it used to be good authentic greek food until 5 years ago when the parents turned the restaurant to their son to run it. He is the one who decided to expand the restaurant, increase volume and neglect the food quality.
You're perfectly correct in your assessment, is now fast greek food, and is all about capacity and no longer about quality. Is too bad....
