Basically this system in the gulf will dump all kinds of rain on AL,MS,and LA. Come right up to the coast of Texas and basically do a U-turn east MAYBE giving us a 40% chance of rain.

Unbelievable.

I agree. After all the hype about 50% chance of rain this weekend, we're apparently going to be left high and DRY.

Not sure I should be,but I'm mad.

I was looking for a good drenching. It irritates me to see it so close....and nothing.

Man we were at 40% everyday starting Wednesday. Then it went less and less everyday. I give up on waiting and wanting rain. Watch, next year we'll get so much rain we'll wish it was last year again.

East of houston is forecast for 4-8 inches over like 4-5 days coming up.A great deal depends on if it shifts east as it comes in. rgiht now it predicted to be off shore south of Sabine Pass then move back northeastward.

Nothing we can do about it so I say we just enjoy the lower temps and sunshine for the holiday weekend.

When they say 40% chance of rain that means they run 100 computer models and in 40 of them we get rain.

Now there's no chance of rain until next Thursday. Zip, zilch, nada, 0%.

Damn, that sucks. Was hoping that thing would drift into Texas. We all need it. Looking around, it's like fall around here. Everything and everyone is brown because of this hot sun.
