10 ends in Jacksonville. 95 runs from I-10 to Miami.

Makes sense, cause I have only seen signs for I-10 in Jacksonville, do not recollect seeing them anywhere else along the east coast.

Talking about toll roads, Florida has quite a bit

I used to live right off of Alligator Alley, in Plantation. I think that's interesting they extended that as part of 75. It was a state highway when I lived there in the 70s, then it was 595.

My favorite Florida road trip, without a doubt, is the old 41 "Tamiami Trail" from Naples to Miami. What a blast that was. Alligators everywhere you look, hardly any cars, 2-lane road deep in the heart of the Everglades. Love it and hope to be able to do it again someday.

Interstates run North-South (5's) from the west coast to the east coast, and East-West (0's) from the Southern states to close to Canada.

Is that what is now 75 and alligator alley? You see them sometimes on the side of the road, but usually have to stop to see them(in designated areas of course) most of the highway is fenced (like chicken wire)

I meant exits to it or connectors, but this is Florida and not that many highways that connect the east with the west.

No, 41 runs south of Alligator Alley. It's not nearly as traversed. I think that's why I like it. Again, that "Old Florida" thing. No development, save for a few gator farms and indian reservations, but that's it. You can stop your car, get out, and there will be no other cars for a while...I got some very good 35 mm shots of a pack of gators on rocks. I may have to go track them down!
