That and look for homes in foreclosure.

City Data isn't "help me find a house" per say. More "tell me about the area I'm getting a house in."

77036 77072 77074 77099 are zip codes you need to look into you can get a fixer upper for $70k to $125K

No offense intended, but why does it always have to be about your neck of the woods? The OP asked for West Houston and he hasn't given us a price range.

I dont even live in this area I live in Meyerland Willowbend area which is 4 to 6 miles away. Most fixer uppers are $100k or less if the op is looking to spend $175k to $200k this would not be a fixer upper
