I'm an architect. It's boring but in college it was fun...that was years ago.

Architecture has been slow with the economic down turn

you credit score should be pretty good with all that history and paying it off years ago as long as you've been consistently good since. your credit score can increase DRAMATICALLY simply by opening up a large debt and consistently paying it down or paying something large off

i left finances years ago but im a sucker

besides the cost of living (rent, food, gas, cable tv/internet, and beer) the majority goes to my ingdirect savings account where i been savingfor a house

I make a 1/3 of what you make. I'm a single, short, white, female, and your age. I pay off my credit card every month & put away a portion of my paycheck into my savings account every month anticipating I will need a new eventually, and I want to be able to pay cash again (bought my current one in 2008). I also put 10% into my 401k.

I had no idea everybody else makes so much more than me.

Actually no, like I said I'm cheap and I've been saving. My rent is closer to 800.

If your single can I date you . I'm just kidding. Damn I'm lonely LOL. Dating is expensive so I've been avoiding that LOL. enough with my personal life. But no I don't have one of those luxury apartments.

Actually my apartment is becoming questionable. Ever since the economy went down hill, the lowered the price and drawn in some questionable people...

OK, this thread is completely out off topic!! The OP was: average salary by age and NOT about how to live from $75K a year.
I am not going to delete all the posts that are off topic ( too many!), but please go back to OP original request or I will have to close this thread.
