Any recommendations on where to get fried chicken and waffles? I'm jonesin'.

Been to the Breakfast Club (Travis @ Alabama?) and the chicken was first-rate but the waffle kinda sucked.

Great Food Houston: Loves Me Some Chicken and Waffles

I second Lola's. Loved the chicken and waffles there.

I'm surprised you didn't like Breakfast Klub. I thought it was amazing!

Must try Lola's.

Good to hear Lola's does something good.
Everything else I've had there has been mediocre at best and way over priced.
I really wanted to like that place and the owner has been pretty successful with his other restaurants.
Dragon Bowl is decent and Pink's is by far the closest thing to good NY Pizza anywhere in the vicinity.

I have only heard of Breakfast Club having chicken and waffles. But then again, I haven't been "jonesin" enough to get out there and search. I think I will now, because I am craving them at this moment. And you are right, the waffle was a...waffle.

No, not this place. It is decent at it's best. It would probably be a good place to go after you have been out late drinking. But, there are many other options for that too.

59 Diner sucks. It is cheap chain food. I never got the whole waffle thing with fried chicken. Just give me some mashed potatoes and gravy.

I am actually partial to the Chicken and Grits and The Breakfast Club. Of course mash potatoes and gravy go without saying.
