Default hello yall, Looking for a rental house in the Freeport area

Hello my name is Barry, new to this site. I am currently stationed in Colorado Springs in the army and will be moving back to Texas in December. I am moving to the freeport area and would like a 2+bdrm 1+bath 1 car garage, around the 600-750 range. must allow dogs with a closed back yard. My 2 dogs are both house broken and up to date on all shots, Female english mastiff, and a male blue heeler. please pm me with any info. thanks again

Look for the Brazosport Facts newspaper online and also the Brazosport area yellow pages. These cover the Freeport/Lake Jackson/Clute area. It sounds like you are trying to rent a place "long distance-sight unseen" and will need a real estate agent to help you find something that isn't a complete dump. You might also want to check out Angleton -- it's a few miles north of Lake Jackson.

I have found a couple places around that area like angleton, but the only problem I am running into is my dogs. They say the need to be outside only dogs. My english mastiff can't handle the Tx heat. Here in Colorado she doesn't have to worry about it but the breed is really prone to heat exhaustion.

Dont move to Sherwood Forrest they will seem very professional and end up giving you a different apt than they show you. Also the courtesy officer works for Clute PD and he will have you locked up if you are not white.
