Is there still significant job growth in the healthcare industry going down in houston?

Example: I work at Texas Children's Hospital, and our CEO just announced we will be hiring 1000 new employees (full-time) over the next year.

Other hospitals are also hiring.

Yes, there are what, 3-4 major hospitals opened up in the past year.

The Clear Lake Medical Center is still growing... that leads me to believe other suburban areas have a growing industry, as well as the main Texas Medical Center which has always been growing.

I sure hope the health care field is still growing in Houston. I'm just waiting here in Florida for my Texas RN license.
