How can we be 5th? Dallas and Ft Worth are two separate cities. Try telling Ft Worth they are part of Dallas! Perhaps we ought to include Galveston then.

we are the 4th largest city, 5th largest metro. But surely you knew that.

yes, that is why Dallas is a smaller city. Metros are collections of cities so DFW just has a bigger collection.

Houston is still the 4th largest city
