No, the reality. There is no bias - there are lots of good builders out there - and some bad ones - just like in all professions. Inspections are always necessary. The good builders take the inspection report and correct the issues. This isn't a hard thing to understand, steve (or tim or wizzywig).

*sigh* you're just saying the obvious, less likely and easily verifiable and seem to think you have a point.
builders are not just any profession, they have a large investment and risks in one transaction, unlike realtors. I bet you there are more cases of people not getting the house they wanted because of their realtor than the builder.

Really? Explain yourself, rather than just throw out jabs. Your comments make no sense.

The best house I ever bought was 75 year old Craftsman bungalow. We had to put in a new kitchen. That's it.

The second best was 45 years old. We had to put in new HVAC. Original kitchens and bath were great.

The only time i had to file suit on anybody was a brand new "custom" on the golf course spec house. We sued the builder and the warranty company. And won. Then the warranty company sued the builder and real estate agent.

You don't always get what ya pay for. There are all kinds of houses in all kinds of conditions. And all kinds of real estate agents. Cheryjohns is a good one.

Yeah, I know. It's just that people come to the forum asking legitimate questions - and he gives out misinformation.

what makes your opinion better than mine? what question are we talking about? its the realtor throwing out 'possible' scenarios here, like a lot of BS professions who operate and earn a living off putting doubt on people

If you are on these boards lurking for potential customers something is extremely wrong here.
