i'm watching the news now, and they're mentioning christmas.....they're talking about how it's going to rain christmas eve/christmas morning... is that enough christmas talk for you?

Agreed. Look at the Channel 2 website. The top story is about troops returning home for Christmas. There are also stories about a rabbit vandalizing Christmas lights, pictures of the best area Christmas trees, and a story about their Operation: Stocking Stuffer toy drive. Let's move on to the next made-up topic.

Everybody knows Christmas in near. How is that news? It's not a political correctness thing, just better use up air time presenting things that we may not know about, rather than the obvious.
