Default Houston Relocation

Hi,

My boyfriend I 24/25yrs moved to Houston late August of 2011. We have had a lot of trouble meeting people our age, does anyone have any suggestions on where we should go to meet people? Its really taking a toll on the relationship not having a group of people to call on go golfing with disc golfing fishing etc.

Please help!

Join a gym or a church or a coed softball league or something.

So if the average age is 25/26 where do they all live? We live between 610 and beltway 8 by westheimer. We may move toward Cypress soon. Work is out toward Cypress.

You will really be moving away from the twenty crowd then. Way out in the burbs?

Hit up Montrose, Washington Ave. if you are douchey (can't go, have a semi-black gf), Drink Houston if you are ghetto, Heights dive bars, etc.

What do you like? Start there. I have met tons of people at the West Gray Starbucks. I bash on Houston, but if you can't make friends here you ain't gonna make friends. This is the only place I have ever lived where people just come up and talk to me. I look a little intimidating, but people here don't seem to mind.
