Default Commons on Lake Houston vs Benders Landing

Which one is better? Why?

Commons on Lake Houston:
Pros:
- Low tax rate
- No MUD taxes
- Excellent school district with great schools
- Nice wooded large acreage lots
- Close to Atascocita shopping/restaurants
- Houses are a little cheaper than BL

Cons:
- Bad commute up 2100
- The way it's laid out, not sure about community cohesiveness
- Houses are not as "grand" or "upscale" as BL

Benders Landing:
Pros:
- Low tax rate
- No MUD taxes
- Excellent school district with great schools
- Nice wooded acreage lots
- Close to Woodlands shopping/restaurants
- Houses are nicer or more "upscale"

Cons:
- Commute is far from ship channel - up Hardy toll road (expensive)
- Houses are more expensive

What other differences are there?
