Hi,
I am planning to move to Houston with my family. We have seen lot of apartments in houston for rent. Read lot of reviews but we couldn't get a good clarity on that.
Can someone suggest some good apartments near city center. Anything near the memorial area should be fine.

Also can anyone give us some feedback about the Premonade memorial and the Marquis on memorial apartments in the memorial area.

Thanks

I know someone that lives at the Memorial City Apartments (just South of the Memorial City Mall). You may want to double check but I think for a 1 bedroom apt it's around $800. The apt is nothing fancy (carpet, formica countertops) but it's clean and well kept. Every other building has it's own pool and there is a Houston playground/park walking distance from there. The person I know likes it there, fits the budget, good school nearby and close to main roads and stores.

There are a few very good options within a 2 mile radius of that area. However it is a mixture of high end and old. But really you're question can be better answered based on several questions, one being, how much do you want to spend. (Thats just one of several questions) You should find an Apartment Locator to help you, the service is free and they can save you a lot of time.
