Which are good jobs for people with little to no job skills which make up the vast majority of Texas residents. Just because it isn't oil or gas doesn't make it less valid for those people who need those jobs. Houston has more than it's share of call centers as well. ACS employs a lot pf people in the Houston area that would have lesser jobs if they didn't exist.

Magazines love that because it helps them sel magazines to see where the reader's own city ranks. The simple measure is jobs to me.. what city produced more jobs in the past 12 months.
